Back by popular demand, MKB Dressage welcomes the return of these two outstanding educators and to be able to reunited such passionate equestrian professionals. This will be a highly educational event for dressage enthusiast and all compassionate horseman . We strongly encourage all participants (riders/ auditors /horses & riders for saddle fitting evaluations) to register early as this will be a limited space event.
Former Head Trainer of the French National Riding School, Colonel Christian Carde is not only a FEI "I" Dressage Judge but a former Olympian and National Grand Prix Champion of France. As French National Team coach, he trained Margitt Otto Crepin on Corlandus to win a World Cup Title, the European Championships and an Olympic Individual Silver Medal in 1988 in Seoul. Christian is globally re renown for his "old world " principles and techniques regarding correct classical training for competition dressage horses. He is an expert at in hand and long reining but most noted for his ground work in piaffe and passage. His academic education from Gen. Alexis Francois L'Hotte and Gen. Albert Decarpentary are among his greatest directives. But he cites Nuno Oliveria and Willi Schultheis (both whom he trained with) as the two most influential horsemen in his life.
Along with Klaus Balkenhol and Dr. Gerd Heuschmann, Carde was a presenter at a 2008 International Dressage Symposium in New York, the topic " Competitive vs. Classical Dressage ". Jochen Schleese needs little introduction. He was the Official Saddler for the 2005, 2007 and 2009 World Cup Finals as well as for the World Dressage Championships in 1986. Jochen has been a guest speaker at the last three USDF/ FEI Trainer's Conventions the most recent with Henk van Bergen in January 2009. He graduated from Passier as the youngest Master Saddler in Europe and is on the teaching staff at the prestigious German National Riding School in Warendorf. He invented the only true female saddle and is the founder of the highly successful " Saddlefit 4Life® " system. This unique and versatile " on site " saddle fitting system is recommended and used world wide by top veterinarians including renown FEI vet Dr. Gerd Heuschmann.
